Republic Day Celebration at NRREC Trust — Honouring Education and National Values
The NRREC Trust's Republic Day celebrations in Anantapur were a vibrant display of patriotism, talent, and the power of education. Students from across the trust's programmes gathered for a colourful ceremony that included the flag hoisting, cultural performances, and inspirational speeches.
The chief guest for the event was a distinguished former judge who spoke about the fundamental right to education enshrined in the Indian Constitution. "Organizations like NRREC Trust are doing what the Constitution envisions — making education accessible to every child," he remarked.
Students performed patriotic songs, staged a play about the importance of education in nation-building, and participated in a quiz competition on Indian history and the Constitution. Winners were awarded medals and books.
The event also served as an occasion to felicitate top-performing students from the previous academic year. Scholarships were announced for students who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and community involvement.
Dr. P. Nagaraju addressed the gathering, urging students to uphold the values of equality, justice, and service that the republic stands for. "Your education is your contribution to India's growth story," he told the students.
The NRREC Trust celebrated Republic Day with students, educators, and community leaders, reinforcing the values of education and patriotism.
