Late Nakka Rama Rao was born into a farmer’s family in a village in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. He served in the Education Department as a Lecturer and retired as Principal. His postings across Andhra Pradesh let him see widespread poverty, educational backwardness, and unmet needs in primary education and health care.
He dedicated his later life to upliftment through knowledge—raising awareness and widening access to learning, using every resource he could for the intellectual, social, and economic betterment of communities.
After retiring, he focused on social service, education, and moral values for young people. In his memory, the Nakka Rama Rao Educational and Cultural Trust was founded by family, relatives, and admirers—continuing the goals and path he set for society.
