NRREC Trust Hosts Inter-School Competition in Anantapur

The NRREC Trust recently organized a grand inter-school competition bringing together over 500 students from 20 schools across Anantapur district. The two-day event featured academic quizzes, essay writing, elocution, drawing, and cultural performances.

The competition was designed to foster healthy academic rivalry, build confidence, and provide students from smaller schools an opportunity to showcase their talents on a larger stage. Many participants were experiencing such a large-scale event for the first time.

"Competition is not about winning or losing — it's about discovering your potential," said Dr. P. Nagaraju during the inauguration. "We want every child to go home knowing they are capable of great things."

The essay writing competition on the topic "My Dream for Anantapur" produced remarkable entries, with students envisioning a future with world-class educational institutions, clean villages, and gender equality. The winning essays will be published in a booklet and distributed across the trust's centres.

Prizes including books, educational kits, and scholarships were awarded to winners and participants. The trust plans to make this an annual event, expanding it to include schools from neighbouring districts in future editions.
